Our Paper Mill

Due to SFQ’s commitment to the environment, we have launched an initiative to collect and recycle paper. It doesn’t end there… We are also launching a paper mill that will produce recycled paper!

Some Facts

Natural Resources

Recycling 1 ton of paper saves 17 mature trees, 7,000 gallons of water, 3 cubic yards of landfill space, and 380 gallons of oil

Air Quality

The process of recycling paper instead of making it from new materials generates 74% less air pollution and uses 50% less water.

Energy Savings

Manufacturing recycled paper uses only 60% of the energy needed to make paper from new materials.

Cost Savings

The construction costs of a paper mill designed to use recycled paper is 50% to 80% less than the cost of a mill using new pulp.
